Continue to North Mackay towards Slade Point to reach the Kommo Toera Trail, a walk through wetlands and Melaleuca Rainforest. Helpful hint: take a good supply of insect repellent with you, and apply liberally before commencing the walk. The trail is one kilometre in length, but can take an hour to complete at a leisurely pace, taking in the sights along the journey. A wonderland for discovering a unique combination of flora and fauna.
