Considered by some as the "creative soul" of the Sunshine Coast, wind your way west and up towards Montville. The Montville Art Gallery is home to paintings and sculptures by established and up-and-coming Australian artists. Geordie Lane, located on the corner of Montville and Benecke Roads at nearby Maleny, showcases an impressive array of china and porcelain cups, vases, bowls, dishes and teapots. It's set off beautifully by the tea room's menu which features freshly made scones, shortbreads, coffee, and old-fashioned leaf tea served in fine china cups. Meander through Maleny, in particular the antiques shops lining the main drag through town. Maleny Country Antiques houses antique furniture textiles, jewellery, and vintage wares. Head on towards Buderim where Buderim Craft Cottage is the epicentre of stellar artistic creations for locals and visitors. The Cottage houses the Atrium Gallery which showcases work by Craft Cottage members with displays featuring paintings, silverwork and fabric art.
