On the edge of the Net Free Fishing Zone, near the North Keppel Island, you’ll find a smaller sandy island called Pumpkin Island. You can troll around these islands and reef systems and will find coral reef at the bottom. This fishing destination is great for bait fishing, but trollers will attract big fish such as spanish mackerel and other reef fish species such as snapper and trout. Keep an eye out for Pelagics at the water’s surface and you’ll find some good trolling spots. The Keppel Bay is great for snorkelling and is wrapped in white sandy beaches. If you’re bringing the family, definitely stop at one of the beaches for a swim.
