After fishing around Newry Island, make your way back to Port Newry Boat Ramp. You’ll pass Mausoleum Island, Rocky Island and even Acacia Island. These are beautiful islands to look at, however please do not fish around these islands as they are protected by a Green Zone. As you make your way into Victoria Creek, try casting along the edges for barramundi and salmon. If you’re returning on low tide, keep an eye out for shallow mud banks and carefully navigate into the ramp.
