Their comfortable Adelaide River Tours air-conditioned minibus will pick you up from your accommodation in Darwin or Palmerston (additional pickup locations available on request). It’s approximately a 50-minute drive to the mooring where you will board their shaded boat to explore the far reaches of the mighty, tidal Adelaide River. You’ll enjoy morning tea on board while you sit back and take in the changing vista of the river. Your tour guide has a vast knowledge of the region and is a wealth of information. An outback gourmet lunch is served at our private riverside camp which is a short walk from the boat. They are able to cater for special dietary requirements, please let them know when booking. You then return to the boat and cruise to our next stop which is Goat Island, the only privately owned Island in the Northern Territory. Here you can also purchase an alcoholic beverage or soft drink. Check out the fabulous wood carvings and furniture, crafted by one of the Goat Island residents. Then it’s back to the boat for the cruise home, spotting more wildlife along the way. You will be dropped off at your accommodation, at approximately 5 pm.
