Day 3: Start your day with a Truckies breakfast at one of the local roadhouses and fuel up before you leave town this morning. Pack your swimming togs and towels, hats, sunscreen, jacket and a picnic, and head north on the fully sealed section of the Kennedy Development Road to Porcupine Gorge National Park for a day of exploration. Walk the Pyramid track, spot for wildlife and take in the views of the lookout. Make your way back into Hughenden to arrive before the sun sets. Enjoy dinner at a country pub and rest up for tomorrow’s adventures.
