In just 55 minutes from Perth, following the Kwinana Freeway and Pinjarra Road, find yourself in the historic country town of Pinjarra, at the heart of Perth’s Peel region. Make the Edenvale Heritage Precinct your first stop and step into country life in the 1800s. Check out the vintage farming machinery on display in the museum. See the historic photos on display in the Old Schoolmaster’s House. View the works of local artists on display in the Old School House and Liveringa Homestead. Admire rare blooms in the rose garden and grab morning tea or lunch at the Heritage Tearooms. If you’re visiting on a weekend, or during school holidays between May and October, you can take a twenty-minute drive to Dwellingup where you can jump on a nostalgic morning or afternoon ride on the lovingly preserved steam engines of the Hotham Valley Railway. You can even dine at Etmilyn Diner, the onboard restaurant, open for dinner bookings on Saturday evenings.
