Take the 45-minute drive west to the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk and make a gentle climb, 40 metres above the forest floor, for the best views of Western Australia’s 400-year-old tingle tree giants. Head for the tall tree town of Manjimup for lunch, and perhaps get a taste of the sensation that’s got top chefs the world over wanting more – WA truffles. Your journey back to Perth is around three hours and 20 minutes. A good place to stop for a rest break is the port town of Bunbury.
