Catamaran hire includes a 13-foot Hobie Wave catamaran, capable of carrying up to a maximum of four persons. Life jackets are provided for all participants, as is a short 10-minute lesson. All hires are monitored by staff onshore, and a support vessel is on standby for anyone needing assistance or coaching. No sailing experience is required. This experience is perfect for anyone looking to learn a new skill. In stronger wind conditions these catamarans feel fast, but in lighter winds, the experience is very relaxing. Participants will definitely get wet, even on lighter wind days, so it is worthwhile bringing a change of clothes. Change rooms are provided adjacent to the hire site. Funcats Watersports is open from 10 am to 6 pm throughout the summer months.
