In the early morning, continue towards Pemberton, located in the Southern Forests. The region’s wine varieties, including Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir, are cultivated in the midst of the beauty of vast eucalyptus forests and wildflowers. Some of Western Australia's finest wines, along with local produce such as freshly caught rainbow trout, marron (freshwater lobster) and Manjimup’s black Perigord truffles, can be tasted. Adventure enthusiasts will enjoy the region’s numerous national parks. In Gloucester and Warren National Park you can climb some of the gigantic Karri trees, such as the 61-metre-high Gloucester Tree or the 75-metre-high Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree.
