Visitors have a full day to explore Esperance and the five national parks in the area. The pristine Cape Le Grand National Park, about 90 kilometres from Esperance, is known for its stunning scenery and idyllic beaches. Bush walks, fishing and camping are some of the more popular activities that are possible here. Massive granite rocks on the coast, freshwater ponds and incredibly white sandy beaches dominate the landscape in the park. Visitors can explore the park via the 17-kilometre coastal trail or enjoy breathtaking views of more than 100 picturesque islands of the Recherche Archipelago by hiking the 262-metre Frenchman Peak. Nearby, keep an eye out for kangaroos lazing on the snow white sand at Lucky Bay. Visitors who do not wish to travel through Cape Le Grand National Park on their own can take part in a half-day or full-day tour with Esperance Eco-Discovery Tours.
