DAY 1: Departing Port Augusta, you'll fly over the Flinders Ranges, Wilpena Pound, Gammon Ranges and the many gorges along the way to Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary for your overnight stay. After settling in and enjoying lunch, you will join the world famous 4x4 WD ridge top tour to Sillers Lookout. Afterwards you will have some free time before your evening meal in the Native Pine dining room. At 8pm you can join the Star gazing tour to the observatory, which is said to be one of the best locations in Australia to see the stars before retiring. DAY 2: After breakfast, return to the plane and head to the remote airstrip on Etadunna station which is on the Birdsville Track. We then follow the Cooper Creek, over Lake Eyre North & the Warburton Inlet and across to the iconic William Creek Hotel for lunch. After lunch we return to Port Augusta via the Anna Creek Painted Hills, Olympic Dam, Roxby Downs and Lake Torrens. Price includes all flights, accommodation, meals & guided tours.
