Welcome aboard Whale Song, the only purpose-built whale watching vessel in the Southwest. This large vessel features a full walkaround design, ensuring every guest has a perfect view of the whales from three levels. After breeding in the warmer northern waters, approximately 35,000 humpbacks and their calves head south to the Arctic waters, using Geographe Bay as their final resting area before the long swim. Enjoy watching the whales in their natural environment, whether they are at play, resting, or swimming alongside their young calves in the sheltered, calm waters of Geographe Bay. Tours run from late August until early November. In November, in addition to spotting the last humpbacks migrating south, there is a chance to see blue whales, with around 300 passing through the bay. For those with mobility issues or requiring wheelchair access, the Busselton option is recommended. The Busselton vessel and loading are wheelchair and mobility-friendly, utilizing a stable jetty and loading ramp.
