This is a one-way self-guided E bike tour that includes the Northern Rivers Rail Trail and the cane fields and rainforest beyond and ends at the award-winning Husk Farm distillery. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail features historic bridges, railway tunnels (one 524 metre long with microbats and glowworms), hinterland views and best of all, no cars! You will visit cute hinterland towns with cafes, art galleries, wine tasting and antique shops. Be spoilt for choice with lunch in Murwillumbah, then continue up into the ancient rainforest of Urliup road with its views to Wollombin before descending back to Tumbulgum and enjoy a relaxing gin and tonic in the beautiful grounds of Husk Farm Distillery. The tour starts at Mooball (the south end of the Rail Trail, nearest to Byron) and finishes at Husk Distillery. Return transfer to Mooball is included.
