Behind all great wines there’s a story and it starts in the vineyard! Old Vines to Great Wines is a guided walking tour of our Certified Organic Estate Vineyard that surrounds the cellar door. Meander through our old vines and learn about the synergies that exist between ancient soils, organically farmed vines, pristine fruit and the finished wines. Explore our individual vineyard blocks growing old clone Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro and Grenache Blanc, stopping along the way to sample wines from several vintages that originate from select vineyard blocks. Later on we walk through our winery, allowing visitors to briefly experience the sights and sounds of a small working winery. To conclude, we return to the cellar door where you’ll be invited to relax and taste through a selection of Hayes Family Wines. Available 10 am Friday - Sunday (other days on request), all year round, weather permitted
