This interactive wine tasting allows you to journey through our fully functioning winery, where you’ll be guided through an immersive tasting "From the Ground Up". From the Ground Up Tasting showcases wines from Shottesbrooke & McLaren Vale that compare varietal, versatility and vineyard characteristics. As we embark on a tour through the winery, guests will learn how the impact of soil, region, micro-climate and varietal expressions have on the finished product of a wine. For example, this tasting will highlight how varietals such as Grenache can be crafted as both a Rose style and a bold red wine, even when the fruit is from the same vineyard! If you love to taste new wines and want to learn something new, then this is the tasting for you - no level of wine education is required, this tasting is purely for enjoyment. From The Ground Up Tasting has a duration of approximately 45 minutes and costs $50 per person.
