From Central station travel about 9km due east, through the rainforest and then through the Eucalypt forest before making your way to the Township of Eurong, home of Eurong Beach Resort, and a coffee and Pie stop, before you embark on your beach journey. This is a good place to purchase refreshments or snacks for the rest of the journey and to have a break from the sometimes lumpy inland tracks before heading out onto the beach highway with it's 80 kilometres an hour speed limit.
