Ever wondered what it’s like to be a zoo keeper? Spend the day assisting our dedicated keeping staff as they show you what it takes to look after some amazing animals. From preparing the animals’ feed, cleaning habitats and visiting off-limits areas, during the ‘Keeper for a Day’ experience you get to experience life as a zoo keeper. Every day is different at Adelaide Zoo so you never can tell which incredible animals you’ll get up close to as part of the tour. From giraffes and maned wolves to penguins, reptiles and meerkats, there are many pawesome animals you’ll meet as part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Please note the minimum age for this experience is 16 years.
