Come join us for an experience of a lifetime in the amazing Arkaroola region of the Flinders Ranges. You will be overawed by the absolute scenic country we will drive through, the awesome history behind each of the destinations we will visit and you will learn about the magnificent geological past of this region and its significance in our lives. We will travel through country of great cultural and historic importance including Iga Warta Aboriginal Community, Balcanoona Woolshed, ruins of the Bolla Bollana Smelter & Grindell’s Hut. Learn about the history of mining in this region, accompany us on an Astronomy tour in Arkaroola and camp in serene campgrounds to reflect on the days travels. We will then drive through the North Flinders Ranges to arrive at Merna Mora Station in the South of the ranges where we will visit the shores of Lake Torrens. The following day we will take in the Moralana Scenic Drive and finish the tour with a well-earned farewell dinner in Hawker. You will come away inspired to learn more- this we promise!
