Visit this authentic replica of Leane's Trench, a captured Turkish trench taken by the 11th Battalion in Gallipoli in 1915. Before entering the trench, you will be shown footage detailing the significance of the trench in WWI. You will then be guided through the 120-metre-long trench to participate in a reenactment of what it was like to be at war during this time. Complete with sound systems, actors and all the paraphernalia of war makes this experience as real as possible, giving you a glimpse of life on the frontline. Following the trench experience you will enjoy a barbeque dinner hosted by the men and women of the 11th Battalion and the Leane's Trench project to learn more about this significant piece of history and those behind the project.
