Aboriginal History, before European settlement. The island was known to the Quandamooka people as Teerk Roo Ra & was used for ceremonial purposes. Popularity remains high, as it can only be accessed by water. Peel Island is a low lying Island, with a tranquil white sandy beach. Situated in the southern half of Moreton bay. Surrounding waters Teem with marine life, including dolphin's, dugong, turtles & more. We can whisk you, over to the Island to soak up some sunshine with a beach walk, swim or picnic.
