Approximately 1 hour & 30 minutes travel each way Listed as some of the top iconic beaches in Queensland. Local aboriginals named it Moorgumpin " Place of the sandhills" The sand dunes of Moreton Island. Formed by sand that caught & built up behind rocks. In a process that began at least 500,000 years ago. Highest dune in the world - 280 meters above sea level. We have a tender ( smaller boat) to take guests over to explore the dunes. Or we can provide some fun water sports. Sea biscuit, large popular sea mat & swimming. BYO food & beverages is welcome.
