The 2026 Canning Stock Route four-wheel drive expedition tour delivers a dynamic landscape experience full of heritage, culture, fauna and flora. Traversing four Western Australian deserts in twenty-two days of exciting four-wheel drive adventure. The tour is led by two repeat CSR experienced four-wheel drivers, outback travellers and industry colleague, Steve Melvin and his wife Alison. Steven is a knowledgeable bushman and avid explorer with a mechanical, electrical, farming and mining background. He holds experience in management, leadership and project coordination. Alison is a professional tour guide who runs her own business, Forest Explorers, in Collie. Both are keen explorers and campers, members of the local volunteering community groups, and hold current first aid certificates.
