South Grafton's, main street is home to several beautiful heritage buildings that showcase the unique design styles from the turn of the century. There are several colourful murals throughout the main street and along the marina and combined with the heritage architecture, these murals make South Grafton feel like a living, breathing, art installation. Drive north along the Clarence River to the riverport village of Ulmarra which overlooks a tranquil stretch of the Clarence, with its shady trees, water dragons running around and quiet ambience. A highly recommended setting for morning tea or lunch by the river.
