An exclusive opportunity to spend the morning with Cultural Custodians of the Murumburr Clan on their traditional lands at one of Kakadu's Aboriginal communities. Itinerary: Welcome to Country: Take a guided walking tour of the billabong and community and learn about the history of the Murumburr clan families and their country. Enjoy an immersive Welcome to Country ceremony and hear stories of diverse clans traveling throughout the landscape. Billy Tea and Damper: Gather around the fire for traditional Billy Tea and Damper, and engage in conversations with fellow travelers and the local community. Men's and Women's Cultural Activities: Men can participate in painting and craft making, while women can learn the art of weaving using locally collected dried Pandanus plant dyed with natural colors. Each guest will create a unique gift to take home. Visit Old Patonga Community School Art Gallery: Marvel at and acquire remarkable art pieces such as woven Pandanus earrings and bangles, paintings by talented local artists, and an array of authentic and distinctive works.
