Starting Point: Hartley’s Crocodile Farm (a visit beforehand is highly recommended!) Route Overview: Initial Climb: Begin your journey with a challenging ascent to the top of the escarpment via Hartley’s Falls for a refreshing swim, then leading onto Black Mountain Road. Top Trail Section: Black Mountain Road is a scenic fire trail that winds through the rainforest beneath Black Mountain, eventually connecting to the Bump Track. Bump Track Descent: Enjoy an exhilarating descent down the historic Bump Track, which leads into Port Douglas via the picturesque Mowbray Valley. Ride Details: Minimum Distance: Approximately 50 kilometers Technical Difficulty: Easy to Intermediate (notably due to the steep descent on the Bump Track) Physical Difficulty: Hard (why we recommend an e-bike to make it Intermediate)
