Take an evening guided turtle eco-education tour from the Jurabi Turtle Centre to view nesting turtles (December/January) turtle hatchlings emerging from the nest and making their way to the ocean (February/March). Tours operate December to March. Turtle Eco-Education Tours are educational tours that not only provide a high chance of finding and observing nesting turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs and turtle hatchlings emerging from the nest and making their way to the ocean but also teach participants how to do so in an unobtrusive manner. By participating in one of these very affordable guided tours, you are actively helping to conserve marine turtle populations and will have a better opportunity to view turtle nesting activity and turtle hatchlings in the natural environment. During the tour you will be guided by staff who will explain more about marine turtles and the environment they occupy, all the while looking for female turtles emerging from the ocean to lay their eggs and turtle hatchlings emerging from their nest making their way to the ocean. Meet at Jurabi Turtle Centre at 6:25pm for briefing and then drive in your own vehicle to a beach nearby.
