Paint the Town is the brainchild of Wollondilly based street artist Joe Quilter, who brought his dream of a street art festival to Southern Tableland Arts and made it a reality. Wollondilly’s Paint the Town murals are all inspired by workshops held with fire affected Wollondilly community members who shared their experiences of loss, pain, hope and resilience after the Black Summer Fires. A collective of renowned street artists jumped on board and translated the community’s experiences and emotions into unique murals on laneways, buildings, cafes and more.
