A district split between coastal fishing towns and quiet inland farmland
Wattle Range runs from wild coastline to working farmland, Beachport's long jetty and salt lake on one side, Millicent's heritage streets and dairy country on the other. The Pool of Siloam sits just outside Beachport, a saltwater lake so dense that swimmers barely need to try to float. Canunda National Park holds the district's wildest edge, dunes and heath running along an exposed stretch of the Southern Ocean. This is a district that never quite settles on one kind of landscape.
