Alida Bar & Restaurant is a contemporary Australian restaurant set in The Penny Royal adventure village at the gateway to the world famous Cataract Gorge. Alida named in honour of our patron, Alida Chromy, wife and business partner of Josef. Alida was a founding director of the JAC group and a huge influence on all of Josef's businesses. Alida was also the homemaker and cared for the entire family. She was also a lover of seafood as we are. Alida is open 7 days, offering amazing cocktails, an extensive wine list showcasing some of Tasmania's finest producers, a modern menu with a focus on Tasmanian products.
