Option A - Merredin for history buffs The region played a significant role as the second line of defence in WWI and WWII, and you can spend a whole afternoon discovering its many stories. The Military Museum is a good place to start – home to Western Australia’s largest collection of military vehicles and equipment. To the south of Merredin, spring wildflowers also bring colour to the vast granite outcrops of Totadgin Dam Reserve, including ‘Mini Wave Rock’.
