Option One: Continue along the Wool Wagon Pathway towards Gascoyne and visit your two first interpretive sites of the day; the Errabiddy Outcamp, and Errabiddy Bluff which is about 1km north of the Murchison Settlement and can be seen from distances of over 30km. Have a picnic or partake of the great challenge of scaling the bluff with abundant wildlife present in this area. Continue along the Wool Wagon Pathway taking in more interpretive sites on your journey north along the unsealed road stopping at Storm Damage, Murchison Gate, Stock Route Well, Bilung Pool, Wool Wagon Tracks and Sea Shell Fossils before arriving at Gascoyne Junction. Stay overnight at Gascoyne Junction and discover relics of the region’s pioneering history at the museum, and perhaps hear the stories of local legends at the town pub. Stay an extra night at the township’s hotel, cabins, caravan park or camping grounds to enjoy the region’s striking beauty. Option Two: Head from Murchison Settlement to Gascoyne Junction via Mount Augustus. Take a rest stop at the tranquil natural springs of Bilung Pool before turning onto the Dalgety Downs-Glenburgh Rd to reach Mount Augustus, the world's largest monolith at twice the size of Uluru (camping and accommodation available). After enjoying a few days exploring the rock, re-join the Wool Wagon Pathway by travelling south on the Cobra-Dairy Creek Road and making your way to Gascoyne Junction.
