A winery founded by Jesuits to make wine for church, not for sale
Not every winery in the valley is chasing a medal. Sevenhill Cellars has been making sacramental wine since 1851, founded by Jesuit priests for a purpose that continues today, the grand Saint Aloysius Church and crypt still standing on the same grounds. The Riesling Trail runs from Barinia to Auburn, an easy cycling route through vineyard country. This valley takes its history as seriously as its wine.
